Sustainability
From Quarry to Home
Our natural stone is sourced from carefully selected quarries and trusted suppliers in Italy, Turkey, Spain, India and China. Each region is known for its own distinctive colors, patterns and mineral characteristics, allowing us to work with a rich variety of natural materials.
We select every type of stone for its individual beauty, quality and suitability for the object being created. From the quarry to the finished piece, the origin of the material remains an important part of the story behind every KIYOMA design.
Naturally One of a Kind
Natural stone is shaped over thousands of years, which means no two pieces will ever be exactly alike. Variations in color, veining, texture and pattern are an inherent part of the material and give every KIYOMA object its own individual character.
We do not consider these natural differences to be imperfections. Instead, we embrace them as a reminder that each object has been created from a genuine natural material, making every piece truly unique.
Designed to Be Kept
We create timeless objects designed to remain part of your home for many years. By focusing on enduring materials, considered proportions and lasting quality, we aim to make pieces that continue to feel relevant beyond changing trends.
Choosing objects that are made to last can help reduce the need for frequent replacement. Our goal is to create products that are used, appreciated and eventually passed on rather than quickly discarded.
Thoughtful Packaging
Natural stone requires careful protection throughout storage and transportation. We therefore package every KIYOMA object with sufficient foam, protective materials and secure outer packaging to help ensure that it arrives safely and in perfect condition.
At the same time, we continue to review how our products are packed and where unnecessary materials can be reduced. Our aim is to improve the efficiency of our packaging while never compromising the level of protection required for delicate stone objects.
